The war between alien robots, known by us as Transformers, are returning to us this June. However, it will be as crazy as it will ever get. The trailer has given the fans enough informations to make them go crazy with either happiness, or hatred. Mostly, the fans of the movie version of Transformers are simply excited to see the return Optimus, and Bumblebee, still being the awesome fighter he is. However, for people who do not like the movie version, especially British critics, have voiced their hatred for the movie.
The Nazi party is the organization known well for the Holocaust. Why am I bringing this up? You guessed it; they are in the movie, and Michael Bay turned William Churchill’s childhood home, England, into a Nazi Stronghold.
However, the truth seems to be on Michael Bay’s side. In the most recent interview, Michael Bay stated, “I just want to say people were not fortunate enough to read the script, and they don’t know that Churchill in this movie is a big hero. And Churchill would be smiling about The Last Knight” (Michael Bay). It seems Churchill will be playing a hero in the last movie. It is possible that he may be portrayed as the biggest hero, who plans out the ways to make things right, and end the conflict.
All movie news comes with negative views, and for this movie, it is that it may contain the end of a very special bot. He is very special and is loved by the Michael Bay’s Transformers fans. He has yellow painting, and black stripes. His former “friend” is nowhere to be seen, and he was the first autobot we ever saw in live action. Although people argue that this bot will never die, more and more evidence of his tragic demise is being revealed. Of course he may live, however from the first movie, one by one, every autobot that had been presented to us in the first film had died. In the first movie, Jazz died. In the second movie, Optimus died, but came back to life. In the third movie, Ironhide died. Finally, in the fourth movie, Ratchet died. Only one bot remains, presented to us as the “Guardian”. You guessed it, Bee may or may not meet his end in this movie.
In this movie, we will be seeing Optimus and Megatron working together in this movie, for the movie poster says so. “Rethink your Heroes” and in the background there is cybertron, torn apart from the explosion in Transformers 3, and there is bumblebee’s arm on the floor. Optimus’s eyes are purple, showing his darker side.
A darker side of a person often means an evil side of them. However, in Optimus’s case, it means the alternative side to his actions and mind. This means he will now be killing humans with pleasure, which would make sense, looking at the build up of hatred and anger Optimus has towards the humans throughout the series. In every movie, he and his team were shot at, and hunted by humans. Yet, he saved the humans. However, like everyone else, even he has a snapping point.
